WEF Apron Photo Tours at Zurich Airport
Every year we organize various apron photo tours at Zurich Airport during the World Economic Forum. On our tours, you have the opportunity to photograph the action and the various aircraft of the WEF participants from the front row. We drive in a passenger bus to various predetermined photo points on the apron, where we are allowed to get off to take our photos and observations. We offer tours during the day and in the evening (night tour) so that different moods can be experienced and photographed on the apron.
The WEF will take place in 2025 from January 20 - 24
In 2025 we will once again be offering photo tours for you.

One ticket is required per tour and participant, which entitles the holder to a two-hour apron tour at Zurich Airport in a passenger bus.
Each ticket is only valid for the selected date and time.
Each tour is led by experienced Tour Guides from Zurich Airport. A representative of aero-terminal will also be present on each tour.
Ticket sales end on the morning of each tour. From this point onwards, it will only be possible to buy tickets in cash directly from us at the counter on the observation deck 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
Important notice
Access to our tours requires entry to the observation deck at Zurich Airport, for which an entrance fee of CHF 5.- must be paid. This admission is NOT included in the ticket price and must be purchased separately. Please note that access to the observation deck is subject to a security check. Please only carry permitted items. We recommend that you do not carry any liquids. Umbrellas are prohibited on our tours and must not be carried.
Details of our apron photo tours
The meeting point is on the observation deck of Terminal B at Zurich Airport, right next to the entrance “Rundfahrten Kasse / Guided Bus Tours”.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the tour and report to our representative so that we can start on time. We run our tours paperless. There will be no tickets or similar. It is not necessary to bring the purchase confirmation or invoice.
As many guests take part in each tour, we cannot wait for guests who arrive late. We will start on time even if not all booked guests are present. In the event of a late arrival, the entitlement to the tour is lost and we have to look for an individual solution after the tour.
Each tour starts from the observation deck B, which can be reached via check-in 2. Please note that an entrance fee of CHF 5.- must be paid for access to the observation deck. This entrance fee is not included in the ticket price and must be paid separately. During the WEF, the observation deck will be open from 08:00 to 20:00. Of course, the paid admission is valid for the entire day and not just for the duration of our tour.
A security check must be passed to gain access to our tours. Please be prepared for this check, empty your pockets and remove all electronic devices (cameras) from your bags and backpacks. Do not carry any prohibited items. We recommend that you do not carry any liquids. Umbrellas are prohibited on our tours and must not be carried.
It is permitted to carry a bag or backpack. Please ensure that it does not exceed 60x40x20cm. Larger pieces of luggage and bags must be stored in one of the lockers at the airport.

Each tour lasts two hours. After a short welcome and safety briefing, we take a passenger bus and drive across the apron. Please note that there are only a limited number of seats on the bus. Our guests should have no problem standing for more than two hours.
It may happen that the bus has to park further away from one or the other photo point, which means that we have to walk a few meters. Please wear sturdy shoes and also consider the weather conditions. It is January - our tours also take place in pouring rain, heavy snow or icy winds.
During the tour there is no possibility to go to the toilet or take a break for drinks and food. Smoking is strictly prohibited during the tour. This also applies to e-cigarettes and other similar smoke and / or vapor generating products.
Each tour is accompanied by a representative of the aero-terminal crew. He is the contact person for all questions or requests during the tour and coordinates and checks these with the Tour Guide and the Airport Authority.
While on the apron, it is important to adhere to the rules and regulations. Red lines must never be crossed, aircraft must not be touched and we must always stay together as a group. The guidelines, instructions and regulations must be followed.
Only if the tours run smoothly we can continue to offer these events in the future.
